  • Times: Friday 5:30pm-9pm, Saturday 8am-5pm
  • Cost: $100 (price includes training content, notebook, and light snacks and lunch on Saturday)

TEACHING TEAM

HEATH WILSON
Pastor Heath has over ten years of pastoral ministry experience in the US and abroad. He received his ACBC certification in 2021. In addition to his role at Hillcrest, he teaches adjunctly in the Biblical Counseling department at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is also pursuing a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling.
DR. BRIAN BARLOW
Pastor Barlow has over eighteen years of pastoral experience and over fifteen years of international missions experience. He has taught professionally at the high school, college, and postgraduate (seminary) levels and received his ACBC certification in 2021.
MICA APPLE
Mica Apple has been an ACBC-certified biblical counselor since January 2020. She has also served as a counselor in Hillcrest’s Soul Care ministry since 2016. She has been weekly ministering to female inmates in the Santa Rosa County Jail in Milton since 2005. She is a board member of the jail’s interfaith ministry and has served as vice president.
ANDREA GALLGHER
Andrea is an ACBC-certified counselor who has been mentoring, leading discipleship groups, and counseling women at Hillcrest Baptist Church since 2017.
LINDSEY DEWSNAP
Lindsey Dewsnap is Pensacola born and raised, married for 22 years to husband Jason with 3 sons. Her passion for helping others in the their most desperate times led her to seek Biblical Soul Care Training in 2021 and she has now been certified for almost 2 years. Her own faith has grown stronger by watching God’s transformative work in the lives of fellow Christian sisters through the Hillcrest Biblical Soul Care ministry.
FRANK JUDICE
Frank Judice has been married to his wife, Grace, for 14 years, and together they have four children—three daughters and a son. He is a certified biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) since 2025, with a particular passion for counseling in the areas of addiction and the biblical role of husbands. Frank helps teach a Sunday morning connect group at 8:15 and is involved in discipleship groups.
RANDY JOHNSON
Randy has lived in Pensacola for 20 years and is happily married with two daughters. He enjoys leading the 8:15 Newlywed Connect group, which helps couples build strong foundations in their marriages.
